Even More My Paper Pumpkin goodness

I know I probably sound like a broken record, but I *LOVE* My Paper Pumpkin kits. They come every month and are full of crafting goodness. Some months it's a photo album, or a banner, and many months it's a set of cards. Usually the kit is for four card, but it's so easy to stretch the materials and make a ton!

From Augusts' kit for example...

I used the paper, embellishments and stamps (the bike and 'thank you' banner) to make these eight cards. All I added was some rhinestones, bakers twine and three sheets of card stock. The first card I followed the directions (see the big card on the far left), and then I got a little creative. The best part of it all? I actually STILL have pieces left over to make even more cards!

So sign up today (or any time before October 10th) to get in on the fun for October! To sign up or get more information, click here or email me. If you sign up with me as your demonstrator, I'll send you some adhesives for free to make sure you're ready to go when your first kit arrives!

Perfect Blend

I needed a quick pick me up card for a coffee loving friend, so I CASEd this card from Adriana Benitez. I mixed up the card stock a little by throwing in some Cordinations, distressed in my own way and off it went!

Eskimo Kisses

I made this card for my sister, who has lived in the sub-arctic for the past couple years. I picked colors that matched her and her partners' parkas too! I got the idea, and the instructions from Ellen Kemper.

Quick CASE

I needed a quick birthday card for a young man I know, but didn't really know what to do. As I've mentioned a few times, I don't have a lot of kid type stamp sets, so those cards are always a struggle. I was also away from home and didn't have full access to my DSP stash, so I felt REALLY lost. As I often do when I'm at a loss, I turned to Mary Fish's blog to look for inspiration. When I saw this card, I was sold! Shortly after, I churned out this version...

Not bad for not knowing what to do hey? The DSP and the present stamps are from the holiday catalogue, and the 'happy birthday' is a hostess set from the regular catalogue, it has a ton of sentiments, so it's a great set for those of us that don't have a lot of room or travel with our gear.

Sent with Thanks

I wanted a quick thank you card for my cousin, who also happens to be my travel agent. She helped me book a trip I'm super excited about, so I used my retired Sent with Love DSP and my new Around the World stamps to create this fun card, complete with stamping on the inside, for her!

Thinlits Card Dies

I'm always looking for a way to step up cards, and the new Thinlits card dies are a super quick, huge wow factor way to do it. There's two sets, the circle die shown here and a label die. For more information click on the information file below, or email me.

I made this card for a friend who just got an awesome new job. Besides the card dies, I used Epic Day DSP, some scraps of cardstock, some pearl embellishments, SNAIL and dimensionals. You would not believe how quick and easy such an elaborate card came together!

Quick and grungy birthday

I got a last minute invite for a birthday party of a guy I didn't actually know. Of course I got no information about him, so I 'had to' crank out a quick generic guy card. As I told my friends, "I can't just show up at a birthday party without a card!"

Luckily, I had the Gorgeous Grunge set just sitting there, never been inked, so I took it for a spin. A few minutes later, I had this! Thanks to easy color coordination and pre made notecards, even a last minute card was a snap!

Technique Club day one

So on Friday we had a fabulous first meeting of the Technique Club! Six lovely ladies came out and learned a whole whack of new skills, made a card and had a great time. This was one version of the card we made (every card used different papers and stamps)...

The ladies had a great time, it was fantastic to reconnect with some old friends and make some new friends too. Even my mom came out to play!

Last but not least, here's a preview of the card we'll be making next month!
